Prior to the launch of Adidas's new sneaker, the Alpha Bounce Instinct, Adidas wanted to educate sales associates and get them excited about the shoe's features.
The shoe itself represents how technology is reimagining the running shoe. Therefore, an AR app felt like the perfect way to reinvent the retail experience and shape the future of product walkthroughs.
The AR app that was loaded onto tablets and sent to Adidas's retail partners in major markets around the US.
The app featured interactive hotspots that triggered key messaging about the product, which were brought to life through 3D animations and motion graphics.
I made use of floors and walls for different types of portals and a blend of the real environment and the virtual. 
The AR demos built buzz and generated excitement among retail associates for the shoe before the product launched.
